help editing HR form in PE51

Hello,

I am trying to cut on half our payslip which is A4 form because we have doubled information on one page.(one stays in HR the other one for employee).

So I go to background editing select from line 35 to line 65 * the last one and choose delete.

Well the content gets deleted but the current lines is showing 64.

What am I doing wrong? I need to have 35 total lines.
