Contractor to employee leave quota config

Hi All,

 

I have a specific requirement for the below situation.

Mt client hired a person as contractor and later he was converted to permanent employee on 02/18. Now the problem is his leave quota (banked OT) is not getting calculated properly.

 

For this perticular ESG group, PS group and absence quota, i have modified validity interval to accrual period ( it was claendar year earlier). However, it did not sovle the problem. Please let me know what configuration needs to be done so that an employee who was contractor earlier and later made a permanent employee gets his leave quota generated correctly. i am very new to SAP HR module. Any help will be highly appreciated.
