My company is in the process of completing a global job banding project. This can be easily set up through the jobs in HCM which will roll through the Pay Scale types and Groups. This leaves us with a couple of dilemma's.
The first one is in EMEA where a lot of countries have local labour levels. If we put in the global values in IT 0008 how can we also manage to have the local levels as some of the groups set up have wage types assigned to it. I know some countries like Japan have a couple of Pay Scale groups and levels but a lot of countries in EMEA do not have this. Would the local levels take precedence over Global in IT 0008 or will this be the other way around. The countries I have issues with are France and Italy.
Apart from the issue of slotting this in there is the additional issue of the wage types for Payroll as this has been assigned to the local groups and levels in these countries. Does this mean we will need to change some of these.
Any help provided will highly beneficial.
