ESS Time entry application issue

Experts,

We have a requirements where I need to filter out the one of the value from  Attendance or Absence Type  F4 value help based on employee personal group. I have introduced an implicit enhancement in this RFC (CATS_F4_HELP_AWART) , working as expected when I access Time entry via CAT2. If I access time entry application (Web Dynpro Java based ) via SAP Portal, I still see the value in the Att./abs. type dropdown  , the value is not filtering out. Why is this scenario not working through portal Time application?  Do I need to use a different BADI  ?? Please advice.
