Problem with un-transferred ½ days in CATSDB

We have discovered an issue with leave requests through ESS.

Half days which have not yet been transferred to HR does not count against the remaining quota. This is only for half days and only when they have not yet been transferred to HR with CATA (approved or not makes no difference).

Example:

1. An employee has one day left on his quota in infotype 2006
2. He requests two half days leave (which works fine)
3. Later, before the requests are transfered to HR, he enters ESS again and is able to request a full day
4. CATA will now transfer the two half days but fail on the full day

Normally half day leave requests work fine and are transferred and book correctly and quota in 2006 is deducted correctly. So it must be something which reads in table CATSDB, which has a problem with half days.

Has anyone encountered this kind of system behavior?
