Finding Hring and Firing date of an employee between a period

Dear Experts,

Can you please let me know the Function Moudule to find the Hring and Firing date of an employee between a period.

Our program is using FM: HR_ECM_GET_HIRE_DATE to find the hiring date of an employee but in cases of Rehiring of employee it alway gives the latest hiring date whereas we want to find the previous hiring date of employee so that we can check how many days, he/she has been active in that particular year (to calculate the bonus amount for him/her for that year).
